First UK sand racing of the year at sunny Mablethorpe Sunday 14 October. Sign on for riders is 0800, if I were a betting man I'd say racing will start between 11 and 12. I have been wrong before though ...
There will be all the usual mad/bad/dangerous folks and their array of shiny (or rusty) machines, all super tuned and out of practise ready for a new race season.
I won't be racing as work has ambushed me this year and I haven't been able to finish re-building my motor. I'm getting home for the meeting though. Get there before the weather is like this:
